NCAA Tournament–Rea Farms Community Event

Last week, Charlotte, NC, hosted the NCAA Division II Final Four Tournaments. As part of the event, Rea Farms STEAM Academy (RFSA) was selected as the school for the NCAA Tournament Community Events on December 11th and 12th, 2024, where NCAA student-athletes engaged with local elementary and middle school students through special activities.

A Day of Fun, Learning, and Inspiration

The NCAA student-athletes created an exciting and memorable experience for the students at RFSA by participating in various activities, including:

 • Reading Sessions

The athletes spent time reading to students, encouraging a love for books and learning.

• Q&A Time

Students had the chance to ask questions and learn more about the athletes’ journeys in sports and education.

• Fitness and Soccer Activities

The athletes led fun fitness exercises and soccer drills, promoting teamwork and staying active.

This event was a fantastic opportunity for the young students to learn about working toward their goals and pursuing their dreams, including higher education.

Charlotte Rise FC’s Contributions

We were proud to support the event and help make it a success.

  • We provided snacks and water to keep the NCAA athletes and coaching staff refreshed and energized throughout the day.
  • We shared candy canes with the Rea Farms STEAM Academy students, adding a small, sweet treat to make their experience even more special.

We are proud to play a part in this fantastic community event, supporting both the student-athletes and young learners on their journey to reach their full potential!

Thank You and Best Wishes

We extend our heartfelt thanks to Rea Farms STEAM Academy for their warm hospitality and support in making this community event a success.

This event was an incredible opportunity to inspire the next generation to stay active, dream big, and work hard toward their goals.
